Creating Solutions Together
Guided by ethics, advocacy, and a higher standard of care.
About Alternatives in Home Care

Alternatives in Home Care was founded on the belief that aging does not mean helplessness. Since 2008, we have supported families through complex care decisions by providing professional care management grounded in education, ethics, and advocacy. Our approach emphasizes dignity, independence, and thoughtful coordination across healthcare, community, and family systems so care plans are realistic, responsive, and centered on quality of life.

We are a locally owned Aging Life Care™ Association–aligned care management agency serving older adults and families throughout the greater Tucson area. Our primary focus is professional care management: assessing needs, developing personalized care plans, coordinating services, and providing ongoing oversight as situations change.

Whether families are navigating a hospital discharge, memory changes, increasing needs at home, or uncertainty about next steps, our role is to bring clarity, structure, and professional guidance to an often complex process. When appropriate, we also provide thoughtfully coordinated in-home care as part of an overall care plan, ensuring continuity and alignment between guidance and hands-on support.

Above all, we believe every family’s situation is unique. Our work is grounded in listening, problem-solving, and creating practical solutions together - always guided by ethics, advocacy, and a higher standard of care.

Our work is led by experienced professionals who bring both clinical insight and a deep understanding of the family experience, with care plans supported and carried out by experienced caregivers under professional oversight.
