Our Care Partners are professional, experienced, well-trained, and committed to ensuring a high-quality of life for all of our clients. All of our Care Partners are carefully screened before partnering with Alternatives in Home Care to provide care. Alternatives in Home Care has an outstanding training program and we are approved by the AZ Department of Economic Security as a training agency that meets or exceeds their high standards in caregiver education.
In Arizona, we currently serve the greater Tucson area, including Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, Oracle, Marana and Green Valley.

Certified Geriatric Care Manager
Angelika has lived in Arizona for several decades and divides her time between Arizona and South Carolina. A graduate of the University of Arizona, she has over 30 years of social services experience. Her background includes employment with county governments, the Public Fiduciary, and Pima Health System's ALTCS (Arizona Long Term Care Systems). Her credentials include a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Arizona and certification as a Geriatric Care Manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers, a designation that requires stringent guidelines for qualification. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community College, where she taught a nationally recognized Direct Care Provider course with subject matter such as personal care, body mechanics, and Alzheimer's/Dementia care. She is also a Certified Eden at Home Associate. Angelika has oversight over the entire company and all of its locations, to include care management supervision and overall administration.

Associate Geriatric Care Manager
In addition to being the Branch Adminstrator of the South Carolina office, Stephanie is responsible for business operations for the entire company. A long time resident of South Carolina, Stephanie has extensive experience in healthcare operations, human resources, employee development, training and quality control. Her background includes employment with Medicare and working with health care providers in multiple disciplines. Stephanie holds a BS in Health Administration and a Masters in Business Administration. She is also an approved Dementia DialoguesTM trainer through the University of South Carolina Office for the Study of Aging & the South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services. As a Certified Revenue Cycle Associate, she is very well versed in navigating the complexities of the health care system. She is also highly skilled at assessing needs, assisting clients with identifying and recommending appropriate resources, matching caregivers to clients and their families, and supervising caregiver performance.
